Acton Bridge Parish Council and Community wish to express their deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and family for their great loss.  We trust that the dedication and steadfast support given by HRH Prince Philip to Her Majesty throughout their long life together will be some support at this time.

The Parish Council echo the many tributes expressed throughout the world  for the life of HRH Prince Philip. His service to the Nation, the world and its peoples will forever be a legacy to the life well lived of The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The mourning period for the Duke of Edinburgh is eight days, until his funeral to be held on Saturday 17th April.
